Workday Connectors are pre-built integration templates that extend Workday’s functionality to outside Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Pay-roll User Interface, Financial Administration, and Spend Monitoring systems. All combinations are hosted and preserved by Workday.

Developing integration with the Core Connector: Settings
Create an integration system:
Step 1: Type creates an integration system in the search tab and selects the same in the search result.
Integration systems are tenanted definitions of Workday integration. An integration system consists of the following building blocks:
- Integration Template
- Integration Solution
- Integration quality
- Integration Map
- Purchase Log
- Integration systems

Step 2: Input Integration Name and Select Core-Connector: Positions in Template
It contains a set of attributes and maps connected to a specific integration function. Integration services make use of XSLT (extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) to transform Workday XML into a format that an exterior system can also use.
Step 3: Select the required Integration template services.
Integration Template establishes the framework for information exchange through a collection of integration solutions.
Step 4: Browse through the related actions and pick Configure Integration features. Select the version and select the highest offered version. Save the screen
Integration attributes provide one or more tenanted values for a data element in Workday.
Step 5: Browse to set up Integration location attributes and choose the fields needed in the results by checking packages.
Step 6: In actions select the integration click launch/ schedule and now launch the Integration display
Step 7: Select Full Extract in the new window and click ok.
Step 8: Outcome files get created
Step 9: Download the XML file and see the result.
INTEGRATION SYSTEM AREA OVERRIDES
Field overrides are a flexible tool to customize your integration system. Use field overrides to map tenanted data to an exterior system and also include customized values to combine output documents. Field bypasses usage report fields or calculated fields to provide the values that are required by the external system. To configure assimilation field overrides, as a related action on the integration system, Select Integration System >> Configure Integration location Overrides.
